The purpose of this study is to find out the dominant species (main target) caught by the bottom swamp fishing gear and find out the composition of the main target fish and the sidelines of the bottom swamp fishing gear. The research was carried out from May to June 2022, located in the mandar waters of Labuhan Haji village, East Lombok Regency. The method used in the study is a descriptive method by knowing directly the sample or data of the vessel or species of fish caught by basic swamp fishermen with a sampling survey. Based on the catches of the bottom swamp on three ships, namely the Al-Afif ship, ship 402 and ship Ibni 77, each ship has a different dominant catch species. The dominant catches of al-Afif vessels are Angoli fish (Pristipomoides multidens), 402 vessels the dominant catch of red snapper (Lutjanus malabaricus) and Ibni ships 77 dominant catches, namely stone kuwe fish (Seriola rivoliana). Based on the results of research conducted in the Mandar waters of Labuhan Haji Village, the catches of basic swamps obtained as many as 9 species include Red Snapper (Lutjanus malabaricus), Kuwe Batu (Seriola rivoliana), Grouper (Epinephelus ongus), Stone Scales (Sargocentron spiniferum), Angoli (Pristipomoides multidens), Toad Sharks (Squatina legnota), Lanjaman Sharks (Carcharhinus dussumieri), Lonjor Sharks (Carcharhinus brevipinna), White Eels (Conger sp. A), which was captured by 3 bottom-bearing vessels. The most catches of Al-Afif vessels are Angoli fish as much as 35.9%, 402 vessels catch the most red snapper as much as 24.4%, Ibni 77 vessels catch the most stone kuwe fish as much as 27.9%.
