The type of natural food that is good and has a very high nutritional value that can support the life of fish larvae is Rotifer (Banchionus plicatilis). This type of natural food has the ability to develop well in a relatively short time. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the effect of giving baker's yeast and urea fertilizer to the growth rate of rotifer (B. plicatilis). The study was carried out for 9 days of culture with 12 experimental units. Based on the results of the maintenance of rotifers for 9 days, the highest population and the best population in each treatment was the effect of Treatment-1 Bread yeast dose of 150mg/l, with a growth rate value (3.99 ind/ml), Specific growth (0.77%) , and the doubling time (2.02 ind/hour) can produce a population mean value (69.4 ind/ml), marked by the population (149 ind/ml) on the peak day. then the treatment of 2 Urea fertilizers at a dose of 150mg/l the value of growth rate (3.44 ind/ml), specific growth (0.71%), and self-doubling time (2.14/hour) the average population density resulted (42, 9 ind/ml), peak day population (102 ind/ml). Treatment 3, combined yeast with 150 mg/l urea resulted in an average density (36.1ind/ml), with (97ind/ml) on the peak population day. Water quality during the study obtained a temperature range of 23- 31°c, a pH range between (8.1-8.2) and a salinity range (35-40 ppt).
